Episode 30: Everybody Who was in the 2023 Pool
It’s the last episode of the year, and the first year of our existence! Celebrating some of the best climate solutions of 2023, from the local to the extraordinary.
This week on Everybody in the Pool, it’s almost the end of 2023 and I am so grateful to everyone who has listened to the show this year, helped my brand new little business grow into something I’m already so proud of, and can’t wait to keep building in 2024, and all the incredible entrepreneurs and investors and practitioners who appeared on EITP over the last eight months or so!
I have to say that the process of putting together this end-of-year retrospective made me hopeful all over again about the brilliant minds who are turning their attention to the climate crisis, and made me proud to have played a part in telling their stories. I am absolutely, wholeheartedly thrilled to be doing what I’m doing.
This week’s show features some of my favorite topics and interviews, starting with personal action—shout-out Shiki Wrap, Ridwell, Mill, going vegan, and keeping your gear longer. And in the back half of the show, I’m spotlighting some of the incredible entrepreneurs building amazing inventions to take a huge bite out of this thing—Universal Hydrogen, Anuma Aerospace, Magrathea Metals, and more. I also had a blast putting together the first ever Everybody in the Pool Green Gift Guide—check it out for your spring birthdays and such!
This will be the last episode of 2023, and after the holidays, I’m off to CES 2024 to see what’s hot in sustainability and smart home and resilience tech (and geek out with my old tech friends, of course). The podcast will be back on January 17, but I solemnly vow not to leave you without a newsletter for all that time. I’m working on an EV buying guide, so get your questions in while you can! in@everybodyinthepool.com
THANK YOU for an incredible first year at Everybody in the Pool. Please, tell your friends. And Happy New Year!
